Peach Cobbler

Ingredients

  • ½ C butter, melted
  • 4 or 5 C fresh peaches, pitted and sliced
  • 2 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 C white sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 C all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ C milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 deg.
  2. Melt butter in 9 x 13” pan
  3. In that pan, toss together the peaches and 2 tbsp white sugar
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the 1 cup sugar with salt, baking powder, flour, cinnamon and milk. 
  5. Spoon batter over the peaches.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until top is golden brown.
