Nick has been with Bartlett’s Farm since 2014 as an essential part of our busy Market, working his way up to Produce Manager. Originally from Eastern Connecticut , Nick attended H.H. Ellis Technical High school for plumbing and heating, then went on to Quinebaug Community College for business classes and the Connecticut School of Bartending/Mixology for fun. Nick came to the Island in December of 2012 for a visit and never looked back. He instantly fell in love with the beauty of the Island and its rich history.
“The one thing that really caught my interest was the community on the Island. Walking down the cobblestone streets and being greeted with a warm smile from complete strangers had me visioning myself calling Nantucket my home and that’s what I did.”
Nick has commenced 2021 with a promotion and is currently transitioning into the Garden Center as Manager. No stranger to hard work, Nick’s first job was in construction when he was 13, and has since held a myriad of jobs ranging from working as a waiter, to a lead floor coordinator at a wire company, to running a small department at a Japanese cosmetics manufacturer. These work experiences have helped to shape Nick into the well-rounded, easy going and hard working individual he is today who never shies away from a challenge or leaves a task undone. Catch Nick’s incredible voice and stage persona at the Brewery performing with local band, Rantum Scoot, or riding his bike around the Island enjoying the sights and senses the Island has to offer.
