Put some spring in your step with a delightful French Sauvignon Blanc and a classic gouda.

This week we’re spotlighting a delightful bottle that is meant to be a casual, easy drinking house white.  We’re shrugging off our stresses and enjoying a crisp & refreshing glass of French Sauvy B with Pas De Probleme from the Languedoc.  Bright aromas on the nose of cut grass and green apple with tones of light citrus woven throughout.  Lofted and delightfully un-cloying on the palate, this is a quaffable and casual answer to our non-New Zealand prayers (no offense to the Kiwis).

And what’s not to love about a classic aged gouda.  Beemster’s wheels are tried & true around here and never fail to delight.  Creamy yet crystal-y crunchy and so satisfyingly savory – there’s no bad time for gouda.  Bright and lifted Sauvignon Blanc grounded by caramel and toasted nut notes in the cheese make for a match made in snacking heaven.
