Wines & Rinds – a wine & cheese tasting
April 7 at 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Dive into April with Uruguayan Pet Nat and classic Vermont Brie
When we think of wine regions, odds are our heads head to Italy or France, maybe South Africa or Argentina. I’d reckon though that Uruguay isn’t high up on that mental list, but maybe it should be! Castel Pujol’s Folklore is a zippy little thing that is mostly Trebbiano with a smooch of Malvasia by a family of winemakers in Rivera, Uruguay. Toasted brioche and almonds on the nose and super vibrant on the palate. Early season stonefruit, salty pineapples, & grapefruit – aka a fruit salad dream – with a pleasantly clean finish. Delish!
Keeping a high-quality, fairly local and affordable mini wheel of brie in stock has seemed like an impossible ask for the past year or two. Enter Vermont Farmstead’s Brie. This 6.5oz wheel is the perfect size for splitting or keeping around as your after school snack. Decadently rich with notes of sweet cream and mushroom-y undertones. It checks all our boxes & then some! Grab a wheel, a Something Natural baguette, and a little honey and you’re set to jet.
