With the start of the new growing season, we have some exciting announcements for our Garden Center team. The team is a trifecta of extensive plant knowledge, top-notch customer service, and steadfast attention to detail. Ella Bopp and Breeze Kidder are gearing up to co-manage the Garden Center this year with long-time Greenhouse Operations Manager, Fernanda Longo supporting their efforts. This powerhouse trio is poised to make our Greenhouse/Garden Center operation even more dynamic and cohesive for our customers this season!
Ella Bopp came on board in November 2020 just in time for wreath season and quickly rose to a supervisor position. She is especially known for her exceptional customer service, sunny personality, and infectious smile. We are thrilled that she is now one of two Garden Center Assistant Managers. We are thrilled to welcome back Breeze Kidder into the full-time, year-round role of Garden Center Assistant Manager after working the last two seasons in the Garden Center as a supervisor. Breeze is passionate about plants and can’t wait to continue to share her knowledge with our customers.
Rounding out the team in a “back of house”/ leadership role is Fernanda Longo, who started with Bartlett’s as a Greenhouse intern through the CAEP agricultural exchange program in 2012. She took over as Greenhouse Operations Manager when Pete Smith retired after 32 years in 2018. She and her team grow the majority of what we sell in the Garden Center in the greenhouses, so her extensive knowledge and tenacious work ethic have been invaluable to the Garden Center over the years. Our Garden Center opens for the season this Saturday, March 25th at 8 am so be sure to stop out and say hello to this awesome team!
