Planting for Pollinators

National Pollinator Week is coming up and we are thrilled to partner with the Nantucket Land Council in support of their Planting for Pollinators initiative.

Nick and his crew have stocked the Garden Center with over 50 native plant varieties, and set up new displays with great  information about planting native plants and pollinators in your Nantucket landscape. Our common goal is to inform our customer base on the important ecosystem that we have on the island and with their help, to provide a brighter future for our pollinator populations. Check out our guide below where you can find our current native and pollinator plant varieties available in the Garden Center as well as how to obtain a copy of NLC’s Garden Guide and sign up for their Pollinator Program. Happy Planting!

Apply for a Nantucket Conservation Commendation

A great goal to work towards for those just starting out on their journey in conservation or for those well on their way to transforming their landscape. Have your hard work recognized by the Nantucket Garden Club and the Nantucket Land Council by applying for a Conservation Commendation. Those who’s efforts qualify will receive a plaque to place in their yard and will be recognized during the Nantucket Garden Club’s Annual Meeting each August.
